Our hire period for the use of our crockery is normally 3 days. We can deliver the day before or on the day, and then collect the day after the event, subject to consultation with you.

Hiring the Goods

• ​The prices listed are for one day's hire and include the drop-off and collection days.

• All items remain the property of Lady Penelope’s at all times.

• A deposit of 50% is required to secure your booking date. You can cancel your booking at any time; however, if you cancel within 30 days of the booking date, your deposit is non-refundable. Cancellation must be made by email.

• We will contact you before the delivery date to finalise arrangements.

• The remaining balance must be paid 7 days before delivery. We accept payment through bank transfer only.

• If you decide you would like additional items after booking, please let us know, and we will do our best to accommodate wherever possible.

• Due to the nature of vintage items, there may be signs of wear, but there will be no chips or cracks in the china.

• All items hired from Lady Penelope’s remain the responsibility of the hirer, including if left at other premises until returned or collected. This includes loss or breakage.

• Lady Penelope will accept no responsibility in the event of any injury or damage caused by the hired equipment.

• A damage deposit is required before delivery of the items; this will be refunded when all items have been returned and checked. £50 for up to 30 persons and £100 for orders above. You are liable for any loss, breakages, cracks or chips of any crockery or goods. The deposit must be in the form of a bank transfer and will be refunded, usually within 7 days of return. If something is missing, damaged or broken, the following charges will apply -​
